My favorite part of this session didn't come till the end, but I'm just going to jump right to it. Little Sophia's big sister and I pretty much became besties during the short amount of time we spent together. When it was time for me to leave, she was asking me to stay and go get ice cream with them. But that's not even the sweetest part. She then asked me if she could give me a kiss goodbye. Awww! It pained me to refuse, but I think she was pretty happy with blowing kisses instead. ♥
Little Sophia was about 9 months old for our session, and she is absolutely precious. It seemed like the perfect age to capture her playful personality. Who doesn't love a fun baby photo in a laundry basket?! I know I have one with each of my babies. It's like a must, I think, haha. Because when you're trying to put your clean laundry in a basket while watching a baby, the baby just wants to take the laundry out of the basket again. So the best thing to do is plop the baby in the basket and tickle, tickle, tickle! So we decided to incorporate that in our photo session. :)
Sophia loved jumping with Daddy. Just look at how she is gazing into his eyes. Adorable! Just like when she was nuzzling with Mommy too. Look at that tiny little finger on Mama's face. Oh my goodness! I believe I let out a long "awwwww" when I took that photo. Such a tender moment. And then in the blink of an eye, Sophia's nuzzling turned into biting Mommy's nose, haha!
I loved watching her big sister interact and be lovey-dovey with her. And that artwork on the ladder in the nursery is incredible, isn't it?! They were painted by Dad's sister for each of these little ladies when they were born. Be sure to check her out at www.hippiequeenartwork.com.
