It's said that April showers bring May flowers, and for the most part, it has been a lovely spring this year! But April can also bring some winter weather here in Maryland. I believe the last frost date for spring in Maryland is May 15. We've had a couple of frost warnings here and I had to cover my peonies with trash bags so the buds wouldn't die. But, now we're past May 15, so hopefully no more frost!

This April evening session was full of gorgeous light to shine on these two love birds, but it was also a chilly 48⁰ and breezy. I've said it before and I'll say it again, clients who brave the cold to capture dazzling photos like these are amazing!! You can't even tell these two are cold! Well, you can see goose bumps if you look close enough, haha. But one plus side to the cold weather is that it makes snuggling up together and getting those cozy shots a lot easier. :)

These two were floating on cloud nine, overflowing with joy for their sweet baby boy. We had a wonderful evening together, which was filled with romance and laughter. We didn't even need anything to be in bloom yet because the two of them provided all the beauty. ♥
