I started my business in 2014, and every year since 2016, Expertise.com has named me as one of Baltimore’s best newborn photographers. It has been an honor that I strived to achieve year after year, by providing the best service that I can to my clients. Yet, after achieving this award for 10 years, it's time for me to start a new chapter in my life. 

I am closing my business to become a homeschool teacher for my child who has severe dyslexia, dysgraphia, and now, after discussions with our doctor, probably dyscalculia. Some of you already know about our struggles with the public school IEP system. Recently, it has become clear that homeschooling will be the best option for us to ensure that our child receives the proper instruction that is needed to learn successfully, and not just be pushed through the system by a school that is unable to fulfill our child's needs. 

I cannot thank my clients enough, for the wonderful years I've had with my business. Each and every one of you helped grow and shape my business into what it is today. Looking back, there's not a photo session that comes to mind where someone was unpleasant. I have been blessed to work with so many kind souls, and delivering galleries full of sweet memories for you all to cherish for generations has been a real pleasure. 

My last day for photo sessions will be June 1, 2025. This new chapter for my family is unknown. I know homeschooling a child with learning differences can be challenging, but we'll take it one day at a time. Hopefully, if all goes well, our child will be caught up after a few years and I'll come back and reopen my business. So this may be goodbye for now, but may not be forever. 

I will not discuss details about my child and our IEP struggles publicly, but please feel free to reach out to me privately with any questions or concerns of your own.
